I'm sure I'll have more questions when I start manually programming it but I haven't finished reading the manual yet.6, including Attallah, Qubilah, and Ilyasah which again I'm assuming resetting to factory would be the quickest & easiest. Since I bought it used it's still got all the previous owners programming on it which I'd like to get rid of in one fell swoop. Is it safe to assume it came with the latest firmware since that was released in 3/10? I don't currently have the USB cable so didn't want to take a chance since I wouldn't be able to re-upgrade it.

It may have come from the factory with the latest firmware as it appears that the date code in the battery compartment is 4/10 in which case it wouldn't matter. If I reset it does it reset the firmware to factory default also? My 1st (of probably many) dumb question has to do with resetting the scanner to factory defaults. Thanks!! I finally decided to go with a Pro-106 & bought a like-new used one from eBay. Hi all, new to RR but I've been vigorously reading the forums to help me decide which digital scanner to get.
